Laboratory Verification Program for Pork - Removal from the Program  
A. Voluntary Removal

 
A laboratory may voluntarily remove itself from the program at any time by written request to the AMS Program Manager.

 
B. Involuntary Removal

 
A laboratory may be involuntarily removed from the verification program for the following reasons:

 
1. Failure to use methods and procedures specified by AMS.

 
2. Failure to report required testing results in an expeditious manner.

 
3. Falsification of analytical results.

 
A laboratory that has been removed from the program due to poor analytical performance must wait six months before reapplying. A laboratory that has been removed from the program due to falsification of analytical results may not reapply.
