The AMS Public Affairs Staff helps to communicate the programs and policies of the Agricultural Marketing Service to the media and the general public. The staff is responsible for interfacing with the media, getting AMS program news out to the public through news releases and the Internet, communicating with employees through an agency newsletter and Intranet site, coordinating agency visits from foreign dignitaries, and writing speeches for the AMS leadership.
