Technical Services Branch scientists are proficient in the areas of: program management, microbiology, chemistry, biology, food science, molecular biology and physical science.

Technical Services Branch provides service in the following areas: laboratory approval and certification programs in support of marketing U.S. agricultural commodities; scientific technical support to AMS laboratories; scientific technical support to other AMS program areas and to other Federal Agencies; and response to inquires concerning scientific technical questions as they relate to the marketing of agricultural commodities.
