Processed Products Division (PPD) operates within the framework of the U.S. Department of Agriculture as part of the Agricultural Marketing Service’s (AMS) Fruit and Vegetable Programs (FV). In this context, PPD shares with these larger entities many strategic elements including values and certain goals and objectives. PPD draws strength and support from the USDA network. All of the Division’s efforts can been seen as contributions to the Department’s progress.

PPD has an office at Headquarters, in Washington, DC, and two regional offices, in Glen Ellyn, IL and Fresno, CA. Our field staff work out of fourteen area offices, located throughout the United States.

PPD Headquarters office consists of the Office of the Chief, the Business Development and Quality Assurance Branch, the Inspection and Standardization Branch, the Information Management Services Branch, and the Defense Contract Inspection Branch.

PPD regional offices are where the Regional Directors and the Assistant Regional Directors are located.

PPD area offices are staffed by the Officers-in-Charge and the Assistant Officers-in-Charge, as well as PPD Agricultural Commodity Graders and Auditors.
