June Dairy Month, originally called National Milk Month, is an annual tradition begun in 1937 to celebrate the dairy industry.
June Dairy Month became the official title in 1939.
June Dairy Month has continued to evolve over the years and entire communities across the country, both rural and urban, have embraced
it. The cooperation between farmers and other community members are really the basis of what June Dairy Month is all about - celebrating and using milk
and milk products
To celebrate National Nutrition Month,the National Dairy Council, GENYOUth Foundation
(both funded by the National Dairy Promotion and Research Program), American College of Sports
Medicine and the American School Health Association released a new report, The
Wellness Impact: Enhancing Academic Success Through Healthy School Environments.
