A laboratory that has been suspended or involuntarily removed from the program may file a written appeal with the Deputy Administrator of the Science and Technology Program supported by any argument and evidence as to why the laboratory should not be suspended or removed from the program. Within 30 days of receipt of the written appeal, the Deputy Administrator shall make a determination and take such action, as deemed appropriate, with respect to the removal.
