The National Organic Program (NOP) develops, implements, and administers national production, handling, and labeling standards for organic agricultural products. The NOP also accredits the certifying agents (foreign and domestic) who inspect organic production and handling operations to certify that they meet USDA standards.

The following have been added to the List of USDA Accredited Certifying Agents:

• Oregon Department of Agriculture, Salem, OR

Accreditation Status Chart has been removed from NOP website. In order to avoid confusion regarding the accreditation status of NOP certifying agents, we have taken down the color coded accreditation status chart of certifying agents. Persons interested in the accreditation status of any certifying agent should refer to the List of NOP Accredited Certifying Agents. Unless otherwise noted, all certifiers appearing on this list are in good standing with the NOP and available to provide service to the industry.
