The Dairy Grading Branch offers sanitary certification services to USDA Approved plants, National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments (NCIMS) listed plants, and plants approved by the FDA for export to the European Union (EU), to assist in the export of dairy and related products. The Branch wants to be as flexible as possible when providing certifications for export. However, we will only provide certifications for those products or conditions for which we have documentation or knowledge through plant and product inspections and grading.

As a condition of trade, the AMS sanitary certificate is accepted by numerous countries. There are other countries that have negotiated specific language on their sanitary certificates. These documents are listed below:
