AMS has received questions from industry groups requesting information about donating food to assist with the crisis in Haiti. The USDA has dedicated resources and has developed an action plan to work with lead support agencies to assist in the recovery and humanitarian aid effort.

A U.S. Government point of contact for food donations has been established. Those commodity groups who have access to, and are willing to donate food should contact the United States Agency for International Development, (USAID)
