On October 28 and 29, 2014, AMS will host its Fall 2014 Industry Meeting for Contractors and Suppliers in USDA Commodity Purchase Programs in Arlington, Virginia. The annual event brings the suppliers, contractors and industry organizations together with USDA representatives, for collaborative discussions about AMS purchase programs. Each year, AMS procures nearly 2 billion pounds of 100% domestically produced and processed USDA Foods for federal food and nutrition assistance programs.

Federal Employees Help Knock Out Hunger

When I became National Program Manager for the 2014 Feds Feeds Families campaign--the sixth annual, nationwide food drive of Federal employees--I challenged Federal employees nationwide to help knock out hunger by supporting this year's initiative.
